Planted in 1900 and spanning five acres, the Royal Tee block at Jessie’s Grove is a rare field blend anchored by head-trained Zinfandel, alongside Carignan, Black Prince, Flame Tokay, and Mission. Originally cultivated by Joseph Spenker and now farmed by his great-great-grandson Greg Burns, the site is steeped in California wine history.
Set on 320 loamy acres dotted with ancient oaks, the Royal Tee vineyard is organically dry-farmed and produces wines of complexity, heritage, and grit.
