Greg heads up all winemaking operations. He is known in the industry as the “Vine Whisperer” through his work resuscitating vineyards across the valley and the world. He was mentored by famed winemaker André Tchelistcheff and was founding winemaker at Flowers Winery, helping it reach cult status.

WINEMAKER

Evan is one of our winemakers and plays an important part in creating many of our wines but especially our blends. He works closely with Greg in the cellar and out in the vineyards with our growers. He has made wine and worked harvests in Australia, Oregon and Sonoma and also plays a strategic role as our winemaking liaison with our wholesale partners. He has over 14+ years in the wine industry, hospitality and winemaking. Prior to Marchelle he was an Enologist with Pride Mountain Vineyards.

CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

A longtime fan of Greg’s wines from his days at Tandem and La Follette to Alquimista, Kevin co-created Marchelle with Greg in 2021 to help continue his legacy of unique expressive wines with uncompromising quality that deliver a sense of place. Prior to Marchelle, Kevin spent 25 years as a technology marketing executive in Silicon Valley. He and his wife Michelle own Harmony Lane Vineyard, a three acre Pinot Noir vineyard near Occidental.

CELLARMASTER, WSET2

Matt can be found running our cellar operations at the winery with Greg and Evan. Matt has extensive wine cellar experience having worked 21 harvests around the world including New Zealand and South America. He is a Sonoma County native and is eager to follow in the footsteps of his stepdad, Greg La Follette.

BRAND MANAGER, EAST, WSET2

Sarah based in Miami FL, represents the Marchelle brand from South Florida up to Manhattan. She is a seasoned wine professional with over 20 years experience in the wholesale wine market, having spent 10 years at Southern Glazers and RNDC. Prior to that she was in restaurant management with the Blacks Restaurant Group in DC.

Raul is a seasoned relationship builder with over 25 years of sales experience in Silicon Valley and brings a proven track record of driving growth, building strategic partnerships, and delivering $30M+ in enterprise solutions — I'm excited to combine my worlds and my love for wine by partnering with Marchelle to scale their business and strengthen market reach in the Bay Area.
