Vineyard Stories
Stewarded by Hand. Rooted in Trust.
At Marchelle, our vineyard partners are more than collaborators. They’re family. These relationships span decades, built vine by vine through seasons of shared work, care, and conversation. Co-founder and head winemaker Greg La Follette has walked these rows for over 30 years, working hand-in-hand with growers who share his reverence for the land and commitment to sustainable, biodiversity-focused farming.
From the ancient vines of Bechthold Vineyard in Lodi to coastal hillside plots near Occidental and Sonoma, every site is chosen for its soul, not just its yield. Together with our growers, we farm with intention, nurturing soil health, encouraging ecosystem balance, and harvesting only when the fruit is fully expressive of its place.
This deep-rooted collaboration is what brings life to our wines. Each bottle is a tribute to these vineyard voices, captured through minimal-intervention winemaking and thoughtful stewardship from ground to glass.
Old vines. Living soils. Relationships that grow deeper with time.
